Building a Digital Ecosystem for Philippine Agriculture

Philippines, 2025. Pilot project with the PRDP (Philippine Rural Development Program, supported by the World Bank.

In collaboration with the Department of Agriculture and the World Bank–PRDP, yieldsApp is digitalizing the agronomy ecosystem – connecting farmers and extension workers through data-driven management and giving the Department of Agriculture real-time visibility into field performance. The initiative helps farmers make better decisions, improves efficiency, and links national strategy with results on the ground. Project focuses on vegetable crops, including potatoes, cabbage, broccoli, pepper, and onions.

Optimizing Tomato Fertigation in the Greenhouse

Michigan, USA, 2024-2025 – commercial greenhouses

In a commercial tomato farm in Michigan, yieldsApp optimized fertigation programs to correct nutrient imbalances and prevent blossom-end rot. By continuously adjusting irrigation and fertilizer application based on crop demand and environmental data, the system improved calcium uptake, stabilized fruit development, and increased yield by over 30%.

Improving Yield and Grain Quality in Malting Barley

Mexico, 2024. Pilot with AB inBev

yieldsApp was implemented with barley growers in AB InBev’s supply chain across Bajío and Norte, Mexico. Field-specific fertilizer recommendations reduced costs by 18-55% and nitrogen use by up to 30%, while yields increased by 15%.

Grain quality improved, with protein levels reduced to within the optimal malting range. Continuous crop monitoring enhanced management efficiency and field sustainability

Irrigation and Nutrient Efficiency in Corn

Nebraska, USA, 2023 – commercial farm

yieldsApp optimized irrigation and fertilizer programs for irrigated corn under variable field conditions in Nebraska. Farmers used the platform to generate field-specific prescriptions and identify problematic areas.

yields increased by about 20%, while efficiency and soil health improved significantly.

Enhancing Fruit Size and Consistency in Apples

Canada, 2022

yieldsApp was implemented in apple orchards in Canada to optimize fertigation and nutrient balance during critical fruit development stages. The system improved calcium and potassium management, reducing physiological stress and improving fruit growth uniformity. Average fruit weight increased by 37%, while moisture levels and overall quality remained consistent

Integrating Agronomic Intelligence into Banking

Hungary, 2022. Pilot Project with OTP bank.

As part of OTP Bank’s initiative, yieldsApp participated in a pilot exploring how agronomic intelligence can help the bank better understand and engage with farmer customers. The collaboration demonstrated the feasibility of using field-level data to strengthen customer insight, identify opportunities, and improve decision-making within agricultural portfolios.

AI-Driven Long-Term Sustainability in Oats, Wheat, and Canola

Manitoba, Canada. 2019-2022.

yieldsApp was deployed over 160 acres of oats, wheat, and canola in Manitoba to correct uneven soil fertility and pest pressure. AI-based prescriptions and multi-layer analysis improved nutrient balance, field uniformity, and overall performance.

After three years, yields rose by 38%, nutrient losses declined, and disease incidence dropped.

See how yieldsApp can help your organization strengthen grower networks and deliver consistent, sustainable results.
